Tuesday's Primary Results (06/24/2025)

This past Tuesday's primary was quite the ride. For us at the Hamilton Campaign Network, we are proud of the races we ran and candidates we supported in New York and New Jersey.

  • In our home base of New York City, we are tremendously excited to have led the campaign to elect Elsie Encarnación as the Democratic nominee for District 8 in El Barrio/East Harlem and the South Bronx. This was one of the most contested races this cycle and we were able to defeat a heavily financed opponent. 

  • We also led independent expenditure campaigns in support of 4 winning City Council incumbents – Pierina Sanchez, Kevin Riley, Julie Menin and Crystal Hudson – and 2 open Council seats – Justin Sanchez in the Bronx and Ty Hankerson in Queens. 

  • In New Jersey, we expanded our partnership with the Passaic County Democrats by running field operations for 5 of their winning candidates earning the following Democratic nominations: 
     

Assembly:
District 27 - re-election of two inspiring Latinas, Alixon Collazos-Gill and Rosy Bagolie.
District 35 - election of the first Palestinian Assemblymember in state history, Al Abdelaziz.

Mayor: 
Wayne Township - Don Pavlak
Governor:
Rep. Mikie Sherrill
 
We congratulate all our clients who have been champions for their communities and worked hard to earn every vote. We look forward to what lies ahead for them and the constituents they will serve.
